OUR PURPOSE

We exist to glorify Jesus and advance His Kingdom.

OUR MISSION

To cultivate a body of believers who discover their purpose and walk in their identity and authority in Christ.

OUR VISION

Imagine a generation of revivalists, from the oldest to the youngest, carrying out God's will for cultural transformation.

Our Values

FOCUSED ON THE PRESENCE

Everything we do is geared towards the presence of God - we gather for Him and Him alone.

AUTHENTICITY

We practice courageous vulnerability in our community because you cannot be fully loved until you are fully known.

EXCELLENCE

We give God our absolute best in everything we do with what we have.

CULTURAL TRANSFORMATION

We are commanded to make disciples OF nations, teaching them to obey all that He has commanded us.

EQUIPPING THE SAINTS

We need more leaders, not less. We want to turn everyday believers into revivalists.

Statement of Faith

We believe...

  • There is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, just, loving and truthful. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self-existent - one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  • The Bible is the inspired, only infallible and authoritative Word of God.
  • Humankind was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him. Yet we willfully rejected the Lordship and glory of God for which we were intended. Because of this, sickness, death and judgment entered the world, and now creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin.
  • The Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is God's Anointed One, empowered by the Holy Spirit to inaugurate God's Kingdom on earth. He was crucified for our sins, died, was buried, resurrected and ascended into heaven, and is now alive today, with the Father and the Spirit, abiding in His people. He is "true God" and "true man."
  • We are saved by God's grace, through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Anyone can be restored to fellowship with God through repenting, believing and receiving Jesus as their Savior and Lord. The Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, justifies, and adopts us as we enter the Kingdom of God as His sons and daughters.
  • In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a holy life and minister supernaturally. The baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 1:4-8 and 2:4, is poured out on believers that they might have God's power to be His witnesses.
  • The victorious, redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides freedom from the power of the enemy - sin, lies, sickness and torment.
  • The Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. He gave His Church the ordinances of Baptism and Communion. The Church exists to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ and further advance His kingdom by undoing the works of the enemy, preaching and living the good news of God's love, discipling the nations, baptizing and teaching them to love and obey God.
  • In the ever-increasing government of God and in the Blessed Hope, which is the glorious visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to rule and reign with His overcoming bride - the church.
  • Heaven and hell are real places. There will be a resurrection of the saved and the lost, one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting death.

Culture

The lordship of Jesus over our lives means He alone has the right to have first and final say over how we see cultural issues. The Church is "the pillar and foundation of truth" to society (1 Tim 3:15). We engage our current culture with these truths:

  • There are only 2 genders.
  • So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Gen 1:27)
  • Men cannot be women; women cannot be men.
  • Marriage is between a man and woman.
  • Any sexual relations outside of marriage as God defines it is a perversion (the wrong version) of God's design for humanity. (Gen 2:24-25)
  • Life begins at conception. Full stop.
  • Abortion has been deceptively presented as a valid option for "healthcare" when, in fact, it is the ending of a precious life.
  • For those who have experienced abortion, healing and freedom is available to all who turn to Jesus.
  • We are proudly anti-abortion and are obligated to be outspoken about it. (Proverbs 31:8)
  • Racism is  an affront to God's heart for people.
  • Heaven celebrates diversity and so do we. (Rev 7:9-10)
  • Our identity is found in Christ alone. (1 Peter 2:9)
  • All other identities (ethnicity, gender and sexuality, etc...) are secondary to our primary identity in Christ.
  • The poor and the homeless should be well taken care of.
  • Caring for the poor and the homeless is the responsibility of the noble. (Proverbs 31:9)
  • The solution is not found in money alone, but with the intentional lifting-up of individuals suffering from poverty.
  • The Church is essential.
  • Jesus Christ is the one true head of the Church and His authority trumps every worldly authority. (Matt 16:18) (Rev 1:5)
  • We respect and submit to our governing authorities, but the moment that comes into direct contradiction with what God calls us to do, we must forsake it. (Acts 5:29)
  • Gathering, singing, dancing, playing instruments, taking communion, and the laying on of hands are all vital expressions of our worship. We cannot and will not acquiesce to a government-imposed moratorium on our weekly congregational worship or other regular corporate gatherings.
  • We cancel sickness, we cancel disease, we cancel fear, and demons, and darkness. We cancel power hungry politicians, but we will not cancel church.
  • Voting matters.
  • Voting is one of the many important ways we act as ambassadors of Heaven. (2 Corinthians 5:20)
  • There is no perfect political party.
  • While the systems of men are flawed, we encourage believers to vote according to biblical principles.

At Cultivate Church, you don't have to believe everything we do to attend, but we encourage you to take a moment and acknowledge the foundational beliefs that we adhere to.
